A renovation 15 years in the making, this space is now a kitchen fit for avid cooks that like to entertain often. From the unique blend of countertop materials to the top-of-the-line appliances, this transitional kitchen design is not only functional, it is absolutely stunning.

Culinarian Crowd-Pleaser

When these clients bought this home 15 years ago, they already knew the kitchen would need to be renovated to accommodate their passion for cooking and love for entertaining. The old kitchen layout caused a lot of congestion for the family and the design did not reflect the rest of the beautiful home. TruKitchens was employed to give the family a stunningly efficient space they could enjoy with friends and family.

Great attention was paid to maximizing the prep space throughout the kitchen. The original window seat was converted to a bay window to add more counterspace. Custom etched stainless steel countertops were used around the stove. An inverted an L-shaped slab of natural quartzite was paired with a custom L-shaped walnut with oil finish wood countertop allowed for the extension of the island without seams in the stone.

Additional custom cabinetry with a silver metallic finish, walnut interiors, and Cambria countertop was used in the dining room. TruKitchens was also employed to update the master bathroom.
