This everyday take on nautical interior design offers a fresh perspective on cottage style.

Interlake Walk

For more than 100 years visitors, seasonal cottagers and full time residents have been enjoying this area in Holland, Michigan. All things nautical prevail as water surrounds this community so it is only fitting that the interior design of this home suggests lake life.

White and blue painted cabinets from Grabill Cabinets in their Madison Square door style set the tone in the kitchen. Polo Blue cabinets in the bar area continue the watery color palate. The master bathroom boasts Wescott Navy painted cabinets with beautifully framed vanity mirrors. Another full bathroom shows off Grabill's Seabrook doorstyle on White Oak Rift Cut with a Harbor Gray Stain.

Outdoor living spaces were not left out of the design. The garage cabinets from Eclipse by Shiloh in Gregio Pine are a highly durable laminate made to withstand a lot of wear and tear. The outdoor kitchen cabinets from NatureKast in Weathered Driftwood are weatherproof which means these homeowners can spend more time enjoying lake living and less time on maintenance.
