This lakefront cottage uses rich wood doors, floors and cased openings to bring touches of rustic charm to its contemporary design.

Hickory Hill

Packing a lot of style in to one communal space is what this cottage's main floor interior is all about. The centrally located kitchen is divided from the other main floor spaces by beautiful cased openings. The kitchen features Super White painted cabinetry from Grabill Cabinets on their inset Hampshire door style. The Montrose metal range hood from Raw Urth in a dark washed patina pops against a colorful counter-to-ceiling backsplash. Brushed gold pendant lighting and hardware add a touch of sophistication.

Just off the kitchen is the dining space which features a custom teal painted bar on inset Lacunar style cabinetry from Grabill Cabinets. The edge grain walnut with sapwood countertop from Grothouse continues the rustic touches seen throughout the cottage. Paneled appliances from Bekins are expertly incorporated into the design to ensure the space is beautiful and ready for entertaining.
